SEO strategist for crypto, fintech and e-commerce brands
I plan and write the search strategy that puts you on page one for the queries your buyers use, then report on it in leads and revenue.
In short
An SEO strategist decides which searches a business should win, fixes what stops its site from ranking for them, and builds the content and authority to get there. Victor Olanrewaju is an SEO strategist in Kigali, Rwanda, HubSpot SEO certified, who took “XRP price prediction” to number one on Google in 2021 and has published nearly 10,000 articles across crypto and finance outlets.
What an SEO strategist does for your pipeline
Traffic only matters when it turns into enquiries, sign-ups or sales. So I start from the customer: which searches do your buyers make just before they decide, and which of those can you realistically win? That produces a short list of commercial queries, a technical to-do list and a content plan, in that order.
- A search and competitor audit that shows where you stand today
- A keyword and intent map tied to the pages that earn revenue
- Technical fixes: indexing, speed, structure and schema markup
- Content that earns rankings and then converts the visitors it attracts
- Authority built through useful work and digital PR, never shortcuts
- Monthly reporting on leads and revenue, not only rankings
Why crypto and finance is a hard place to learn SEO
Crypto and finance are topics where accuracy and trust matter a great deal, to readers and to Google, and every publisher is chasing the same queries. Six years in those newsrooms taught me how to win there: original data, clear structure, a named expert behind each page and links earned through useful work.
Google’s own guidance asks for helpful, reliable, people-first content. That is the standard I write to, for crypto brands and for any other business.
How I work
- Audit and baseline: where you rank, what holds you back and what your competitors do better
- Foundation: technical fixes, entity clarity and schema markup
- Content and authority: pages and guides that rank, get cited and convert
- Track and compound: monthly reports with the same measures every time
What I will not do
- Buy links or run link farms, which can get a site penalised
- Publish mass-produced AI content with no expert behind it
- Guarantee a number one ranking, because nobody outside Google controls that
Where I work

Questions
Straight answers.
The things people ask before they hire a copywriter or an SEO.
What does an SEO strategist do?
An SEO strategist decides which searches a business should win, fixes the technical and content problems that stop it ranking for them, and builds the authority to get there. The work is measured in leads and sales as well as rankings.
How long does SEO take to show results?
It depends on the competition and the site’s starting point. Technical fixes can show up within weeks, while competitive queries usually take months. I set a baseline in the first audit and report against it every month.
Do you build links?
I earn links through useful content, original research and digital PR. I do not buy links or run link farms, because they can get a site penalised and do nothing for whether an AI assistant trusts you.
Do you work with crypto and fintech brands?
Yes. I spent six years in crypto and financial newsrooms, including CCN, BeInCrypto and AMBCrypto, and I took “XRP price prediction” to number one on Google at Ventrix Media in 2021. I also work with e-commerce, hospitality, real estate and B2B businesses.
What does a content strategist do for SEO and AI search?
A content strategist decides what a business should publish, for which buyer question and in what order, so each page can earn a Google ranking or an AI citation and lead a reader towards a purchase. In practice that means mapping buyer questions, giving each one its own answer-first page, keeping facts consistent across the site and measuring rankings, citations and enquiries every month.
